La intrusa is a Mexican telenovela produced by Televisa and broadcast on Canal de las Estrellas in 2001. It stars Gabriela Spanic and Arturo Peniche as the protagonists, with Laura Zapata and Sergio Sendel as the antagonists.
The story revolves around Virginia Martínez Roldán (Gabriela Spanic), a young woman working as a governess for the Alarcón family. After the death of his wife, Rodrigo Junquera (Enrique Lizalde), the patriarch of the Alarcón family, is left with seven children, some of whom are unruly and resentful of any new woman in their lives.
