Waingmaw

Waingmaw is a town located in Kachin State, Myanmar (Burma). It is situated east of the Ayeyarwady River and Myitkyina, the state capital. Waingmaw is the administrative center of Waingmaw Township. The town is primarily inhabited by Kachin people, and the surrounding area is largely agricultural.
