New Gods (vol. 5)

New Gods (vol. 5) is a comic book series published by DC Comics, lasting for six issues from February to July 2018. This series represented the fifth volume of the New Gods title, following the various iterations that began with Jack Kirby's original creation in 1971. Written and illustrated by Shane Davis, with Michelle Delecki as colorist, this volume focuses on Orion's journey to stop Darkseid after receiving a warning from Lightray in a vision.

The series explores themes of destiny, free will, and the nature of good and evil. It delves into the conflict between New Genesis and Apokolips, showcasing the powerful New Gods and their respective motivations.
