Domovoy (film)

Domovoy (Russian: Домовой) is a 2019 Russian horror film directed by Andrey Bogatyrev. The film follows a young single mother, Olga, and her daughter, Alina, as they move into an old apartment building in Moscow. They soon discover that the apartment is inhabited by a Domovoy, a malevolent house spirit, who attempts to drive them out. The Domovoy torments them with increasingly terrifying pranks and manifestations, leading Olga to seek help from a specialist in folklore and paranormal phenomena. The film explores themes of family, fear, and the clash between modern urban life and ancient superstitions.
