Ángel Edo
Ángel Edo Alsina (born August 4, 1970, in Rubí, Barcelona) is a former Spanish professional cyclist. He competed primarily in road cycling events.
Edo was known for his sprinting abilities and aggressive racing style. He turned professional in 1992 with the CLAS-Cajastur team and rode for various teams throughout his career, including Kelme, Festina, Milaneza-MSS, Benfica, and Contentpolis-AMPO.
His major victories include stages in the Volta a Portugal, Vuelta a Andalucia, and Challenge Mallorca. He also achieved success in one-day races and smaller stage races throughout Spain and Portugal.
Edo retired from professional cycling in 2009.
