Scratches (video game)
Scratches, also known as Scratches: Rasguños, is a 2006 first-person point-and-click adventure horror game developed by Nucleosys and published by Got Game Entertainment and FX Interactive. The game centers around Michael Arthate, a writer who moves into a Victorian-era mansion in England to escape writer's block. As he explores the Blackwood family estate, he uncovers a history of madness, murder, and supernatural events, indicated by strange scratches appearing around the house. The gameplay focuses on exploration, puzzle-solving, and inventory management. Players must collect items, solve riddles, and piece together the Blackwood family's dark past to unravel the mystery surrounding the house and its gruesome history. Scratches is noted for its atmospheric setting, detailed environments, and psychological horror elements designed to create a sense of unease and dread. It was followed by a prequel, Scratches: Director's Cut, which offers enhanced graphics, additional puzzles, and alternative endings.
