Amiens

Amiens is a city and commune in northern France, located 120 km (75 miles) north of Paris. It is the prefecture of the Somme department in the Hauts-de-France region.

History:

Amiens has a long and rich history dating back to pre-Roman times. It was a significant Gallic settlement and later a Roman city known as Samarobriva.
