Tim Rogers (musician)

Tim Rogers (born 20 September 1969) is an Australian musician, actor, and writer, best known as the frontman of the rock band You Am I.

Rogers formed You Am I in Sydney in 1989. The band achieved significant success in the 1990s with albums like Hi Fi Way, Hourly, Daily, and #4 Record, all of which reached number one on the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) charts. Rogers' songwriting is characterized by its melodic hooks, witty lyrics, and exploration of themes related to Australian culture and personal relationships.

Beyond his work with You Am I, Rogers has also pursued a solo career, releasing several albums including What Is This Called, Again? (1999), Spit and Polish (2005), and An Actor Repairs (2012).
