Thomas Townley (cricketer)

Thomas Townley (born 26 June 1843, date of death unknown) was an English cricketer who played first-class cricket for Lancashire between 1864 and 1871. A right-handed batsman and occasional right-arm roundarm bowler, Townley appeared in 27 first-class matches. He scored 443 runs at an average of 10.54, with a highest score of 32. His bowling record shows 4 wickets at an average of 20.00, with a best of 2/19. He was also a regular fielder, holding 22 catches in his career.
