Thomas Jermyn (died 1552)

Thomas Jermyn (d. 1552) was an English landowner and politician. He was the eldest son of Sir John Jermyn of Rushbrooke, Suffolk, and his wife, Margaret Scrope.

Jermyn served as Member of Parliament for Suffolk in 1547. He held the office of Sheriff of Norfolk and Suffolk in 1537 and 1543. He also held the office of High Sheriff of Suffolk in 1548.

He married Anne Spring, daughter of Sir John Spring of Lavenham, Suffolk. They had numerous children, including Sir Ambrose Jermyn, a prominent figure in Elizabethan Suffolk. His death occurred in 1552, passing the family estate on to his heir. He was a significant landowner in Suffolk during his lifetime, contributing to the local gentry.
