Third Army (Bulgaria)

The Third Army was a Bulgarian field army that participated in the Balkan Wars, World War I, and World War II. It was typically deployed in the northeastern part of Bulgaria, tasked with defending against potential threats from Romania and, during World War II, the Soviet Union. Its composition and organization varied depending on the period and the specific strategic requirements. During the Balkan Wars, it played a significant role in operations against the Ottoman Empire.
