The Realist (British magazine)

The Realist was a British weekly magazine published from 1879 to 1880. Edited by Annie Besant, it advocated for radical political and social reforms, including secularism, republicanism, and birth control. The magazine was a platform for free thought and challenged conventional Victorian morality. While short-lived, The Realist provided a voice for progressive and controversial ideas and contributed to the burgeoning socialist and feminist movements in Britain.
