Lost Treasure (board game)

Lost Treasure is a board game designed by Yoshihisa Taguchi and published by Okayama-based publisher Adventure Planning Service (APS). It is a cooperative game for 2-6 players, focusing on underwater treasure hunting.

Gameplay:

Players take on the roles of divers exploring a sunken ship in search of treasure. The game board represents the ocean depths, and players move their divers along a track, consuming oxygen as they go. Oxygen is a shared resource among all players, and careful management is crucial for success.

Players collect treasure tokens of varying point values from the sunken ship and attempt to return them to the safety of their submarine before their oxygen runs out. However, returning treasure safely scores points only if a majority of players successfully make it back to the submarine. If more divers drown than survive, all treasure is lost.

The game incorporates elements of risk management, cooperation, and resource allocation. Players must communicate and coordinate their movements to efficiently gather treasure and conserve oxygen. The limited oxygen supply creates a tense and exciting atmosphere as players race against time and each other to secure the most valuable loot.
