The High Road (Roxy Music album)

The High Road is a live album by the British rock band Roxy Music, released in 1983. It was recorded at Frejus, France, in late August 1982 during the band's "Avalon" tour. The album features performances of songs from throughout Roxy Music's career, including tracks from their most recent studio album, Avalon. The title track, "The High Road," is a cover of the song originally written and performed by Bryan Ferry with his pre-Roxy Music band, The Gas Board, and later recorded by Eddie and the Hot Rods. This version became a minor hit single for Roxy Music, reaching the UK Top 30.
