The Bled

The Bled is an American post-hardcore band formed in Tucson, Arizona in 2001. They are known for their aggressive sound, characterized by a blend of metalcore, hardcore punk, and elements of melodic post-hardcore. The band's music often features complex guitar work, screamed vocals, and breakdowns.

The original lineup consisted of vocalist James Muñoz, guitarists Jeremy Talley and Ross Ott, bassist Darren Simoes, and drummer Mike Pedicone. Throughout their career, The Bled has seen several lineup changes.

The Bled signed with Fiddler Records and released their debut album, Pass the Flask, in 2003. The album gained significant attention in the post-hardcore scene and is considered by many to be a seminal work in the genre. They later signed with Vagrant Records and released Found in the Flood in 2005, which further solidified their reputation. Subsequent albums include Silent Treatment (2007) and Heat Fetish (2010).

While they have not officially disbanded, The Bled has been largely inactive in recent years, with members pursuing other musical projects. Despite their relative inactivity, their influence on subsequent generations of post-hardcore and metalcore bands remains noticeable. Their aggressive sound and complex compositions have made them a notable act within the genre.
