A-segment

The A-segment, also known as a city car or mini car, is a vehicle size class in the Euro NCAP vehicle classification system. These are the smallest passenger cars typically available, smaller than B-segment (subcompact) cars.

A-segment cars are generally characterized by their short length, typically under 3.7 meters (approximately 12 feet), and are designed primarily for urban use, prioritizing fuel efficiency and ease of parking over passenger space and cargo capacity.
