Tamás Hausel

Tamás Hausel is a Hungarian mathematician working primarily in the fields of algebraic geometry, topology, and representation theory. He is known for his contributions to the study of moduli spaces, especially the moduli spaces of Higgs bundles and related objects.

Hausel received his PhD from the University of Oxford in 1998 under the supervision of Nigel Hitchin. He has held positions at the University of Cambridge and the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL).
