Craig Thomson (footballer, born 1995)

Craig Thomson (born 24 September 1995) is a Scottish professional footballer who plays as a defender.

Thomson began his career with Heart of Midlothian, progressing through their youth academy. He made his senior debut for Hearts in 2013. During his time at Tynecastle, he had loan spells with Cowdenbeath and Brechin City.

After leaving Hearts, Thomson signed for Scottish League One side Arbroath in 2017. He became a regular in the Arbroath defence, contributing to their promotion to the Scottish Championship.

As of late 2023, Thomson continues to play in the Scottish Professional Football League. His career has primarily been in the Scottish Championship and League One.

His primary position is centre-back, but he is also capable of playing in other defensive roles.
