TOZ-106

The TOZ-106 is a Soviet, single-shot, smoothbore firearm chambered in a proprietary 32-gauge cartridge (often referred to as .32 gauge rimfire, although centerfire loadings also existed). It was manufactured by the Tula Arms Plant (Tulskiy Oruzheiny Zavod – hence the "TOZ" designation).

The TOZ-106 is a short-barreled, bolt-action weapon primarily intended for agricultural workers and geologists for defense against wild animals. It is characterized by its compact size, simple design, and relatively low cost. The stock is typically a skeletonized, metallic folding design to further enhance portability.

Due to its unusual gauge and limited production numbers compared to other Soviet firearms, ammunition for the TOZ-106 can be relatively scarce outside of its region of origin. The firearm is also known for its unconventional appearance and utilitarian design, reflecting its original purpose as a practical tool rather than a sporting or military weapon.
