Dalwood, New South Wales (Singleton Council)
Dalwood is a locality in the Singleton Council local government area of New South Wales, Australia. It is situated approximately 160 kilometers (99 miles) north-northwest of Sydney and lies within the Hunter Region.
Historically, Dalwood was an important agricultural area, known primarily for viticulture. It was the site of one of Australia’s earliest vineyards, established by James Busby in the 1830s. The area retains some agricultural land use, although its character has evolved over time.
