Francis Odega

Francis Odega is a Nigerian actor and comedian, best known for his viral "Gerrarahia" comedic skit. He gained widespread internet fame in 2013 when a clip from a Nigerian sitcom he starred in, titled "Clinic Matters", went viral. The clip features Odega reacting with exaggerated disgust and the catchphrase "Gerrarahia mehn!" to the sight of someone using a Blackberry phone.

Prior to the viral video, Odega had a long and established career in the Nigerian film industry (Nollywood). He has appeared in numerous films and television series, showcasing his comedic and dramatic acting abilities. The "Gerrarahia" meme, however, significantly increased his recognition internationally.

Following the internet success of the skit, Odega leveraged his newfound popularity, appearing in commercials and other media engagements. While he is known for his comedic roles, he continues to act in a variety of projects within Nollywood.
