Canton (band)
Canton was a Cantonese pop (Cantopop) band from Hong Kong active in the mid-1980s. The band was known for its upbeat, synth-driven sound and commercially successful hits that blended Western pop influences with local lyrical themes. Canton primarily consisted of Peter Wong (vocals), Danny Lo (keyboards), and David Tan (bass). While they enjoyed moderate success, they eventually disbanded, with members pursuing solo careers or other ventures within the Hong Kong music industry. Their music remains a nostalgic touchstone for fans of 1980s Hong Kong pop music.
