Steven Ferguson (footballer, born 1982)
Steven Ferguson (born 27 March 1982) is a Scottish former professional footballer and current coach. He primarily played as a defender or midfielder.
Ferguson began his professional career with Ross County in 2001 and spent the majority of his playing career with the club. He made over 400 appearances for Ross County across all competitions and captained the side for several years. He also served as a joint manager for a period alongside Stuart Kettlewell.
After leaving Ross County, he had a brief spell with Alloa Athletic before returning to Ross County as a coach. He has held various coaching roles within the club's youth academy and first team setup.
