Sophie Barker (footballer)

Sophie Barker (born 20 December 1990) is an English professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Sheffield United.

Barker began her career with Leeds United, progressing through their youth system. Following spells with Doncaster Rovers Belles, Lincoln Ladies (later Notts County Ladies), and Reading, she joined Sheffield United Women in 2018. She has also represented England at youth international levels. Barker is known for her technical ability, work rate, and versatility in midfield. She has consistently been a key player for her clubs, contributing both defensively and offensively.
