Glo (band)

Glo was a short-lived electronic music duo consisting of Brendan Canning (of Broken Social Scene) and Kevin Drew (also of Broken Social Scene). Active primarily in the late 1990s and early 2000s, the band was known for their experimental sound, incorporating elements of electronica, ambient music, and spoken word. While Glo did not release a full-length album, several of their tracks appeared on compilation albums and circulated online. Their work is characterized by its atmospheric textures, unconventional song structures, and incorporation of found sounds. The duo's output remains relatively obscure but is considered a precursor to some of the more experimental aspects of Broken Social Scene's later work.
