Michel Auger (politician)

Michel Auger is a Quebec politician who served as a Member of the National Assembly of Quebec for the riding of Chambly. He was first elected in the 2007 provincial election under the Action démocratique du Québec (ADQ) banner.

Auger was born on March 2, 1953. Prior to entering politics, he worked as a police officer for over 25 years.

During his time in the National Assembly, he served on several committees, including the Committee on Public Administration.

In the 2008 provincial election, Auger was defeated by Diane Legault of the Parti Québécois. He ran again in the 2012 election but was unsuccessful. Since leaving provincial politics, Auger has remained active in municipal affairs in the Chambly region. He is known for his advocacy for local issues and his continued involvement in community projects.
