Sol (band)

Sol is an American hip hop group from Seattle, Washington, consisting primarily of MC Sol (born Solomon Simone) and DJ/producer Sabzi (also known as Khingz).

Sol rose to prominence in the Seattle music scene, gaining recognition for his lyrical dexterity, socially conscious themes, and energetic live performances. His music often explores themes of identity, community, and personal growth, drawing inspiration from his experiences as a first-generation Eritrean-American.

The group's discography includes several EPs and full-length albums, including "Solzilla" (2009), "Yours Truly" (2012), and "Eyes Open" (2016). They have toured extensively throughout the United States and internationally, building a dedicated fanbase.
