So You Think You Can Dance (American TV series) season 11

Season 11 of So You Think You Can Dance, an American reality television dance competition, premiered on Fox on May 28, 2014, and concluded on September 3, 2014. Cat Deeley returned as host. Nigel Lythgoe and Mary Murphy were permanent judges. During the audition rounds and some performance shows, guest judges joined the panel. These included Jenna Elfman, Misty Copeland, Tara Lipinski, Wayne Brady, and Adam Shankman.

This season featured a change in the format, reducing the number of finalists to 20 (10 men and 10 women) instead of the usual Top 20 format, resulting in double eliminations each week. The contestants competed in a variety of dance styles, including contemporary, hip-hop, ballroom, jazz, and tap.

The winner of Season 11 was Ricky Ubeda, a contemporary dancer, marking the first time a male contemporary dancer won the competition since Season 5. The runner-up was Valerie Rockey, a tap dancer.
