Listen Up (TV series)

Listen Up is an American sitcom television series that aired on CBS from September 20, 2004, to April 23, 2005. The series was inspired by the columns and books of Tony Kornheiser, a sportswriter known for his humorous and often cynical commentary.

The show revolves around Tony Kleinman (Jason Alexander), a sportswriter, and his wife, Dana Kleinman (Wendy Makkena), a lawyer. They have two children, Mickey (Taylor Momsen) and Larry (Will Rothhaar). The series humorously portrays the challenges of balancing career and family life, often showcasing Tony's attempts to impart life lessons, albeit often misguided ones, to his children. Recurring characters include Tony's friends and colleagues, as well as other parents and children in the Kleinmans' suburban neighborhood.

The show was created by Pamela Fryman, who also served as an executive producer along with Tony Kornheiser, among others. Listen Up was cancelled after one season due to low ratings. While critically panned by some, it did garner a loyal fanbase.
