Warkton

Warkton is a village and civil parish in North Northamptonshire, England. Located approximately 3 miles northeast of Kettering, it falls within the electoral ward of Barton.

The village has a long history, with evidence of occupation dating back to Roman times. Its name is believed to derive from Old English, possibly referring to a farmstead or settlement belonging to a person named Weorc. Warkton is mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1086.
