Al-H̨arīq
Al-H̨arīq (Arabic: الحريق) is a town located in the Riyadh Province of Saudi Arabia, approximately 190 kilometers south of the city of Riyadh. It serves as the capital of the Al-H̨arīq Governorate.
The town is primarily an agricultural center, known for date palm cultivation and other agricultural products. Its history stretches back several centuries, playing a part in the broader history of the Najd region.
The Al-H̨arīq Governorate, which it leads, encompasses a number of smaller villages and settlements. The governorate is administered by a governor appointed by the Saudi Arabian government.
