Simon Rose (cricketer)

Simon Rose is a former English cricketer who played first-class cricket for Leicestershire between 1987 and 1994. He was a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium-pace bowler. Rose played a total of 63 first-class matches, scoring 1,413 runs with a highest score of 103 not out, and taking 110 wickets with a best of 6 for 35. He also played List A cricket, appearing in 47 matches and scoring 233 runs and taking 43 wickets. Following his cricket career, he has been involved in coaching.
