Alan Miller (footballer)
Alan Miller is a former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. He is most notably remembered for his time at Blackburn Rovers, where he was part of the Premier League-winning squad in 1994-95.
Miller began his career at Arsenal, but struggled to break into the first team. He then moved to Plymouth Argyle, where he established himself as a reliable goalkeeper.
His performances at Plymouth attracted the attention of Blackburn Rovers manager Kenny Dalglish, who signed him in 1993. While primarily a backup to Tim Flowers, Miller made occasional appearances for Rovers, including a few during their title-winning season, earning him a Premier League winner's medal.
After leaving Blackburn, Miller played for a number of other clubs, including Huddersfield Town, West Bromwich Albion, Bristol City, Grimsby Town, and Rochdale. He finished his professional career in the mid-2000s.
Following his playing career, Miller has been involved in coaching, often working with young goalkeepers.
