Siccia

Siccia is a genus of moths belonging to the family Erebidae, subfamily Arctiinae, tribe Lithosiini. These moths are typically small and slender, often characterized by their delicate wings and muted colors. They are found in various parts of the world, with a significant presence in the Indo-Australian region.

The larvae of Siccia moths feed on lichens and algae growing on rocks, tree bark, and other surfaces. Their cryptic coloration often allows them to blend seamlessly with their environment, providing camouflage from predators.
