Ladyhawk (band)

Ladyhawk is a Canadian indie rock band formed in Vancouver, British Columbia in 2004. The band is known for their blend of classic rock influences, including Thin Lizzy and Neil Young, with elements of indie and alternative rock. Their sound is often described as guitar-driven and featuring dual guitar harmonies.

The original lineup consisted of Duffy Driediger (vocals, guitar), Steve Newton (guitar), Sean Foote (bass), and Ryan Peters (drums). Over the years, the lineup has seen some changes.

Ladyhawk has released several albums and EPs, including their self-titled debut album in 2006 on Jagjaguwar Records. Other notable releases include "Shots" (2008) and "No Can Do" (2012).

They have toured extensively throughout North America and Europe, playing at various festivals and venues. The band has garnered critical acclaim for their live performances and songwriting.

While not actively touring or releasing music as of late 2023, Ladyhawk's earlier work continues to be appreciated by fans of indie rock.
