Aliabad Rural District (Khafr County)

Aliabad Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in Khafr County, Razavi Khorasan Province, Iran. It is administered from the village of Aliabad.

Established as part of Salami Rural District, Khafr County, upon the establishment of Khafr County in 2021, Aliabad Rural District comprises a portion of the former Salami Rural District. The population statistics prior to the establishment of the county are therefore included under Salami Rural District data. As of the 2016 census, the total population of Salami Rural District was 8,269 people across 2,601 families. When Khafr County was established, the portion that became Aliabad Rural District inherited a portion of this population. A separate census will be conducted to accurately reflect the population and demographics of the new Aliabad Rural District.

Aliabad Rural District is located in the central part of Khafr County. The economy is largely based on agriculture.
