Lima (Milan Metro)
Lima is a station on Line 1 (Red Line) of the Milan Metro. It is located on Corso Buenos Aires, one of Milan's busiest shopping streets, in the Piazzale Loreto area.
The station was opened on November 1, 1964, as part of the inaugural section of Line 1 between Lotto and Sesto Marelli. Like many of the original stations on Line 1, it features a simple, functional design.
Lima station provides access to Corso Buenos Aires, offering a direct connection to numerous shops, restaurants, and other businesses. It is also within walking distance of Piazzale Loreto, a historically significant square. The station serves as an important transportation hub for both local residents and tourists visiting the area.
