Old North (Tel Aviv)
Old North (צפון הישן, Tzfon HaYashan in Hebrew) is a residential area in Tel Aviv, Israel, located north of the city center. It is generally considered to be bordered by the Yarkon River to the north, Ibn Gabirol Street to the east, Arlozorov Street to the south, and the Mediterranean Sea to the west.
Characterized by its Bauhaus architecture and tree-lined streets, Old North is a highly desirable and relatively affluent neighborhood. Its development largely took place in the 1930s and 1940s, resulting in a distinct architectural style influenced by the International Style. Many buildings are protected as historic landmarks.
