Seara (newspaper)
Seara was a Portuguese daily newspaper, published in Lisbon. It was associated with the Movimento de Unidade Democrática (MUD) during the Estado Novo regime, representing a platform for democratic opposition. Its publication was relatively short-lived but notable for its role in challenging the authoritarian government. Seara provided a voice for intellectuals, artists, and political figures critical of the regime. It faced censorship and other forms of pressure from the authorities, ultimately leading to its closure.
