Seán Hayes (Cork politician)

Seán Hayes (born c. 1975) is an Irish Fianna Fáil politician who served as a member of Cork City Council representing the South Central ward. He was first elected in 2009 and re-elected in 2014 and 2019. Hayes served as Lord Mayor of Cork from 2018 to 2019. His political priorities included urban regeneration, sustainable development, and community engagement within the city. He did not contest the 2024 local elections.
