SM UC-61

SM UC-61 was a German Type UC II minelaying submarine or U-boat in the German Imperial Navy (Kaiserliche Marine) during World War I. She was commissioned on November 9, 1916.

UC-61 was primarily used for laying mines in enemy waters. These mines were designed to disrupt enemy shipping and naval operations. Details of her specific mining deployments, enemy ships sunk or damaged, and patrol routes are often found in historical records and U-boat war diaries.
