Scot McKnight

Scot McKnight (born November 2, 1953) is an American New Testament scholar, theologian, and author. He is widely known for his work on the historical Jesus, the Gospels, early Christian theology, and contemporary issues in the church.

McKnight received his PhD from the University of Nottingham, where he studied under James D. G. Dunn. He has taught at North Park University for many years and currently serves as Professor of New Testament at Northern Seminary.
