Rafael García (footballer, born 1974)
Rafael García (born August 14, 1974) is a Mexican former professional footballer who played as a defender.
Career
García began his professional career with UNAM Pumas in the Primera División (now Liga MX). He spent the majority of his career with Pumas, becoming a key player in their defense. During his time with Pumas, he contributed to the team's success, including winning the Clausura 2004 and Apertura 2004 championships.
After a long and successful stint with Pumas, García played for other clubs in the Liga MX, including Cruz Azul and Tiburones Rojos de Veracruz. He was known for his solid defensive skills, leadership qualities, and commitment on the field.
