Rob Morris (American football)

Rob Morris (born April 19, 1975) is a former American football linebacker who played in the National Football League (NFL) for eight seasons.

Early Life and College Career:

Morris was born in Muskogee, Oklahoma. He attended Jenks High School in Jenks, Oklahoma, where he was a standout football player. He played college football at Brigham Young University (BYU), where he earned All-Mountain West Conference honors.

Professional Career:

Morris was drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in the first round (28th overall) of the 2000 NFL Draft. He played his entire NFL career with the Colts, from 2000 to 2007. He was a key member of the Colts' defense, known for his tackling ability and leadership. During his time with the Colts, he contributed to their Super Bowl XLI victory over the Chicago Bears. He recorded 738 total tackles, 11 sacks, and 8 interceptions during his NFL career.

Post-NFL Career:

After retiring from the NFL, Morris has been involved in various activities, including coaching at the high school level. He has also worked as a football analyst and commentator.
