The Greatest Gift (mixtape)

The Greatest Gift is a mixtape by American rapper Sufjan Stevens, released on November 24, 2017. It is considered an outtake collection and companion piece to his 2015 album, Carrie & Lowell. The mixtape features remixes, outtakes, and demo versions of songs related to the Carrie & Lowell era.

The collection includes several new tracks as well as reworked versions of existing songs. Several tracks were previously unreleased and offered new sonic textures compared to the more acoustic-based Carrie & Lowell album. Musically, The Greatest Gift incorporates elements of electronic music, IDM, and folk.
