Kuberaa

Kuberaa, also often seen as Kubera or Kuber, is the Lord of Wealth in Hinduism. He is considered the treasurer of the gods and the king of Yakshas (semi-divine beings who guard treasures). He is frequently depicted as a stout, dwarfish figure, adorned with jewels and holding a pot of money or jewels.

Kubera's association with wealth and prosperity makes him a popular deity to worship, particularly by those seeking financial success and abundance. Prayers and offerings are made to him to attract wealth and good fortune.

In Hindu mythology, Kubera is believed to reside in the city of Alaka, located on Mount Kailasa. He is often associated with the north direction. His devotees believe in his power to bestow material wealth and success upon them, provided they maintain righteousness and ethical conduct. While primarily a Hindu deity, Kubera is also revered in some Buddhist and Jain traditions, albeit with variations in his depiction and role. His iconography often features a mongoose, which is considered a symbol of wealth in some traditions.
