Richard Hill (footballer, born 1963)

Richard Hill (born 11 September 1963) is a former professional footballer who played as a defender.

Hill began his career at Oxford United, where he progressed through the youth ranks before making his first-team debut. He was a member of the Oxford United squad that won the League Cup in 1986, defeating Queens Park Rangers in the final. He also contributed to their First Division campaigns during the mid-1980s.

Following his time at Oxford United, Hill moved to Watford. He became a regular in the Watford defence, contributing to their league form and FA Cup runs. He was known for his solid defensive performances and versatility.

After leaving Watford, Hill also had spells with Northampton Town and then played non-league football.
