Reynatis

Reynatis is an upcoming action role-playing game (ARPG) developed by Furyu Corporation and published by NIS America. The game is set in Shibuya, Japan, and explores themes of magic, identity, and societal prejudice.

The story revolves around Marin Kirizumi, a magic user seeking freedom from oppression. In the world of Reynatis, magic users, known as Mages, are feared and ostracized by society following a devastating magical incident. To combat this prejudice, some Mages form rebel groups. Marin becomes embroiled in a conflict between those who accept societal norms and those who fight for a world where Mages and humans can coexist peacefully.

Gameplay involves navigating the vibrant Shibuya setting, switching between a "Suppressed" mode to blend in with ordinary citizens and a "Liberated" mode where players can utilize Marin's magical abilities for combat and exploration. Combat emphasizes strategic positioning, utilizing magical skills, and exploiting enemy weaknesses. The player can recruit other Mages to join their party, each possessing unique abilities and contributing to the narrative.
