Cossogno is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Verbano-Cusio-Ossola in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 130 kilometres (81 mi) northeast of Turin and about 20 kilometres (12 mi) northeast of Verbania.

Cossogno is situated in the Val Grande National Park, the largest wilderness area in Italy. The local economy is historically based on agriculture and forestry, with increasing tourism connected to the national park in recent years.
