Restless Night (film)

Restless Night (French: Nuit Blanche) is a 2011 French action thriller film directed by Frédéric Jardin and starring Tomer Sisley, Julien Boisselier, and Joey Starr.

The film centers on Vincent (Tomer Sisley), a corrupt police lieutenant involved in a drug heist. After stealing a bag of cocaine from drug dealers, Vincent finds himself targeted by both the gangsters and Internal Affairs. The gangsters kidnap his son, demanding the return of the drugs in exchange for his son's life.

The majority of the film takes place over a single night within a crowded nightclub. Vincent navigates the labyrinthine corridors and dance floors of the club while trying to evade his pursuers, locate his son, and negotiate a deal. The film is characterized by its relentless pacing, claustrophobic atmosphere, and intense fight sequences.

Restless Night received positive reviews for its suspenseful plot, dynamic camerawork, and Tomer Sisley's performance. An American remake, also titled Sleepless, starring Jamie Foxx, was released in 2017.
